Fannie Schiavoni Chain Glove
This Fannie Schiavoni steel chain glove à la middle ages won't keep your hands warm during Montreal's frigid winters, but if you're badass enough to wear it, you won't care. Michael Jackson would be proud.
Cédric Rivain
Cédric Rivain is a French artist with fashion-influenced drawings. Mind you, he doesn’t draw plain Jane from around the way; he’s had stunners like Kate Moss, Natasha Poly and Sasha Pivovarova model for him (all friends of his, of course). His portraits make them look even more angelic than their real-life equivalents, si c'est possible. He's also got this weird but cool thing about bandages that he uses as a motif in a lot of his work. If you're interested, check out an interview with him from the Canadian magazine The Block.

Legs for Days Backstage at Alexander Wang
Here are a few backstage photos taken with 35mm film at the Spring/Summer 2010 Alexander Wang fashion show in New York from Stylesightings. Forget the legs, I'm eating up the shoes and the unrivaled knee-high socks with the cut outs.
Black Armour
Model Ieva K. shot by Dean Rodgers from The Imagist. Everything about this photograph breaks the rules and that's exactly why it's so striking. But really, can you imagine walking in those shoes? It makes me dizzy just thinking about it...
Now you see it, now you don’t
Back details are all the rage, and it adds the perfect je ne sais quoi to a perhaps otherwise boring outfit. These photos are from Jak & Jil Blog, shot by fellow Canadian Tommy Ton, who's leading the pack in street style photography, giving Scott Schuman a run for his money. This woman's sweater is a bit bizarre, a bit simple, and a bit complex all at the same time. It's hands down a love-it-or-hate-it piece, and I la-la-la-love it. You know the saying: "Hate to see her go, but love to watch her leave..."

WESC launches new site!
WESC, a shining beacon of international fashion and friend of Lookout, recently launched their new website. Now you can look through the new fall/winter offerings, check out the WESC zine, and browse through the listings and offerings of all the always-entertaining WEactivists at the new www.wesc.com. Solid stuff all around. It is encouraging to see a major company place such attention to detail even in their accessories, such as these headphones below. Definitely count me in for the Superlative Conspiracy.
