Banana Split Sundae/Official Osheaga Closing Party!
Following the final day of this year's Osheaga Music Festival in Montreal, Blue Dog Banana Split Sundae hosted the festival's official closing party! All the bands were invited and more than a few showed up to party, including Amazing Baby, who laid down an impressive DJ set.
The crowd showed no signs of fatigue from all the Osheaga shows. Everybody in the room, and the room was packed, was hyped and ready to end the weekend on a banger note. The free giveaways from WESC and Amazing Baby (not to mention the free keg on the dancefloor) didn't hurt the mood, either.
Of course, no Banana Split Sundae is truly complete without a beserker set from residents/owners Team Canada. Grandtheft knows how to give the people what they want: the best party in Montreal and the perfect end to Osheaga!

Blue Dog Motel just played host to a very special Banana Split Sundae! Featuring DJ sets by owners/residents Team Canada and the Fader-approved CFCF, it was another great Sundae at the Dog. Flying Lotus Recap!
The Red Bull Music Academy , Lookout, and The Goods were proud to present Flying Lotus w/ My Man Henri Saturday, July 11 at Club Lambi!
The night was started when Flying Lotus and gave a special lecture for lucky Red Bull Music Academy applicants at Off The Hook's upstairs gallery. The lecture touched on his recent critical and commercial success, his experience working with Ableton Live, and his time spent at the 2006 Red Bull Music Academy in Melbourne.
Montreal's own Speakerbruizer and Lunice each performed opening sets at Club Lambi and generally just crushed it. We should be seeing more of them very soon.
When Flying Lotus came on, after a great set by My Man Henri, Lambi went off! The photos say it all. As Flying Lotus pounded out improvised, spontaneous bangers on stage, the crowd went wild and the packed dance floor got chaotic. Thanks to Flying Lotus, My Man Henri, Speakerbruizer, Lunice, The Goods, and The Red Bull Music Academy for a great night!
